The Group's companies
Several companies are part of the System Group. In order to meet ever more interesting market challenges, in the Innovation Valley we have sought synergies with specialised and market proven companies that, over time, have become an integral part of the Group.
Specialists in the design, construction and installation of cutting-edge automated vertical carousel modules, called Modula.
The automated storage system handles stocked products through rapid, automated picking and allows all movement to be tracked. With Modula, 90% of the space occupied at ground level can be reduced, also resulting in greater operator safety and health thanks to continued research into ergonomics.
The main Modula production plant is located in Salvaterra, Reggio Emilia, Italy. In September 2015, a plant in the United States in Lewiston, Maine opened to serve the North American market, while other investments have been directed to completing the factory in Suzhou, China, with the goal of providing wide distribution to the Asian market. Modula also offers a consulting service for the automation of internal logistics processes with standard solutions.

Laminam’s production is performed with technologically advanced systems designed and built by the System Group to which Laminam belongs.

For System, this company represents a hi-tech design laboratory specialising in the decoration and development of new surfaces. The lab performs research via international trend watching and extends that to various fields. Tosilab designers then study the evolution of consumer habits and concentrate on how people experience their internal and external environments, public and private. They define the trends that characterise interior design in different geographical areas in a certain moment and track the design activity that generates creative products. Through this research-oriented approach, the experience and skills of Tosilab professionals add to those of System’s to result in a highly accelerated technological development.
