The world of ceramics represents the core business of the company. Established 40 years ago, the System Ceramics division acquired an absolute international leadership as for ceramics automation and decoration, by producing systems for decorating tiles and the automation of storage and end-of-the-line systems, alongside a vanguard chemical and graphical laboratory. System was capable of introducing a new concept of industrialisation of the different production processes and launching revolutionary products which triggered enormous changes in the field of ceramics, thus determining new quality standards. Today it is capable of meeting all the decoration, storage, sorting, packaging, palletising and handling requirements inside of a ceramic plant using technologically advanced solutions. The name System Ceramics is inseparably linked to decoration systems with products such as Rocket and then Rotocolor, an exclusive System patent, which for over two decades has dominated the global market and today is present in over 15,000 installations throughout the world. System has designed many products regarding decoration, starting with the absolute best rotary system, Rotocolor, present today in 3 models, passing from the silicone cylinders to the engraving workshops on to the digital decoration. To ensure the ceramic products with quality and efficiency, System invented quality control systems: in particular, defects in calibration, flatness, curves, size, pressing, tone and bevelling are detected by means of advanced viewing technologies mounted on equipment such as Qualitron, Redline, Liner 2000, Dico Planar, Qualitron and Check Point. Also specialised in the end-of-the-line phase for sorting, packaging, palletising and handling, System has the asset of numerous sorting line models (Easy Line, Fv08, 4PHASES), palletisers (Falcon Millennium) and LGV vehicles. As far as storage is concerned, it is the partnership Nuova Era-System that has won over the market, with absolutely innovative solutions. The constant ambition of taking new roads in the ceramic panorama has brought System to explore new horizons in the field of thin materials. This brought about the creation of the Lamina project, a patented process capable of creating the largest and thinnest ceramic slab ever seen. 1,000 x 3,000 mm in size, 3mm thick and a specific weight of 7 kg/m2. A totally innovative material which shook up the expectations of the ceramic world, feeding the race towards thin materials which has characterised the latest trend in ceramics.
