System Lamina, the third division of the group, was established with an ambitious aim in mind: to produce the largest and thinnest ceramic slab ever seen. A ceramic sheet of unique size and properties (1000 x 3000 mm, 3 mm in thickness and with a specific weight of 7 kg/m²) is much easier to transport compared to traditional stone or ceramic materials. The product, created with Lamina technology, is extremely innovative in nature: perfectly planar and exceptionally flexible, it can be used to make composite materials and has remarkable aesthetic, mechanical, chemical and structural properties. Lastly, the possibility of combining Laminam with other materials means it can be used for a vast spectrum of external and internal applications. We can also claim a revolution in the field of logistics with the “single size at the kiln exit and the exact cut” without any need for the finished product warehouse. Lamina is a true innovation in the field of materials, combining the benefits of the thinnest ceramic materials with the versatility of laminates, as well as in the building, furnishing and tiling industries, for design and infrastructures and in the field of photovoltaic technology.
