Driver for four stepper motors. From a structural point of view the driver consists of three main units: • an (internal) step and direction signal generation unit for four axes (indexer); • the power units (one for each motor); • a microcontroller responsible for coordinating the work of the indexer and power units. The driver is fitted with 16 general purpose digital inputs and 16 outputs that can be managed as CANopen remote I/Os. |
