The DICO family expansion units allow you to expand the number of local control unit I/Os. This can be useful if you need a large number of points concentrated in a small area. These units are connected directly to the control units via the DICO bus and a 37 conductor "flat" cable. In this way you can connect up to a DICO control unit: 4 DICO 022 expansion units, 2 DICO 028 expansion units, 8 DICO 028/B expansion units and 16 DICO 028/D expansion units. This gives the control unit an option of up to 768 I/O points.
The DICO 022 unit has 3 standard slots for DICO modules, the DICO 028 unit has 6 standard slots for DICO modules and the DICO 028/B unit has 2 slots for DICO "3SIZE" type I/O module. |
